Welcome May ICLW Bloggers and loyal bloggers I have been in contact the last few months. If you read my TTC journey you will see I got a BFP last week. I would love for you to join my Journey and would love to follow yours and support you as well. If you recently got a BFP, BFN, just started trying to conceive, or have been trying for years, trying with IUi, or IVF, or trying for that second baby but it just is not as easy as the first, it does not matter ...we are all on the same journey..: Trying to make a family. And this is a great community of support and resources. I have no idea how I would have survived this year with this loving community. So welcome if you are new, and Thank you to each and every one of you for being there for me and letting me be a part of your journey.
I can not tell you how many pots I have read that have brought me to tears from sorrow and inspiration. I do feel like this community has helped me in so many ways. it is as if...I am talking to a friend through this blogs. Some bloggers really share amazing stories about their lives and feelings.

Hello there! I am here representing the ladiesinwaitingbookclub during ICLW week!
ReplyDeleteFirst, CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP! So nice to hear news like this instead of the dreaded BFN :)
Next:
1) Where are you in your Infertility Path - In the middle of my 2ww - just had a donor egg transfer last Sunday. Been TTC for 3.5 years and from the get go I was told DE was my only option even though I did try with my OE (in vain)
2) have you had children before - No, just 2 furbabies
3) how long have you been blogging - I have an abandoned blog called MaximoandPants that I could not bring myself to go near after I was diagnosed with IF. Still can't. I have been an editor of LiWBC since we started up in January 2011.
4) if you have a blog..what is? www.ladiesinwaitingbookclub.com
5) If you have been dealing with Infertility for a while, what have you been doing to relieve the stress - Cry a lot? Just kidding! I've tried acupuncture, I read, listen to calming music, but most of all I share with anyone who will listen. I feel like I am an advocate for IF that way and there is a study that shows women who share their IF experience tend to have higher IVF pregnancy rates. I love to exercise but have been limited on that this past year due to a sever hip injury.
6) what is your favorite blog or two - Well, LiWBC of course, and HannahWeptSarahLaughed but do love my friend Mari's non IF blog called PassportDiaries. She blogs about living in Japan and traveling but she had recently gotten pregnant (one of those lucky fertile ones) so just be careful. I think she is very classy about it - she doesn't post pregnancy photos on FB, only on her blog and they were very sweet. And I NEVER say that!
1) Where are you in your Infertility Path
ReplyDeleteWe are right in the middle of our first IVF cycle (and hopefully the last). We have been TTC for about 2 1/2 years. We suffer from MFI.
2) have you had children before
I have never had any children...neither has my DH.
3) how long have you been blogging
My sister and I started a blog in 2005 (I think?). Mainly to keep in touch with family. We realized how much we loved being able to print out our blog into a book every year to keep as a family journal. When I got married in 2008, we started individual blogs so I could blog about everything baby. We obviously had no clue what we were in for. LOL. My blog is my family journal...with all the steps of our journey to baby and all the good and bad that comes with life.
4) if you have a blog..what is?
http://www.projecthappilyeverafter.blogspot.com/
5) If you have been dealing with Infertility for a while, what have you been doing to relieve the stress?
We've been dealing with this for 2.5 years and until now, I have not let if affect me...or as much as possible. We agreed to NEVER argue about this and to never point any fingers. My husband places so much blame on himself and I don't think it's right. We are in this together! I'm not really sure what I do to relieve stress...get a massage, hang out with my sisters...spending time with my nieces and nephews always helps. :)

Hi, visiting you from ICLW! Congrats on your recent BFP!!! So exciting!
ReplyDelete1) Where are you in your Infertility Path-Just got my third rising beta from our first Frozen Embryo Transfer cycle.
2) have you had children before-Yes, after having trouble getting pregnant thanks to endometriosis, MFI, and a hydrosalpinx, we had our first child as a result of our first IVF cycle 5 years ago (he's 4, but the cycle was 5 years ago).
3) how long have you been blogging-Since May 09. After our second cycle failed and all the embryos were abnormal and we were out of money for infertility treatments we were going to adopt, and we started our blog for that.
